
Baggewala base camp has become a refuge for the victims, the camp launched under the direction of Giani Harpreet Singh has become a ray of hope
Ferozepur- The base camp built by Shiromani Akali Dal President Giani Harpreet Singh in the village of Baggewala in Ferozepur district with the support of party workers and other organizations for the flood victims is being seen with a ray of hope. This camp in itself offers great relief for the flood victims. This camp has special arrangements for daily necessities including medical facilities, medicines, tarpaulins, and dry fodder for animals.

Shiromani Akali Dal President Giani Harpreet Singh specially arrived along with his colleagues to inspect the Baggewala camp. Giani Harpreet Singh said that the main purpose of this base camp is to deliver the right and necessary goods to the needy at the right time. He said that the special feature of this camp is that any flood victim can avail the service here on the basis of a registration to fulfill his/her needs. The management of this camp is with the youth of the local area so that the demand received on the basis of registration can be fulfilled by going to the victim’s house.
He praised the workers doing this service and said that today there is a need for maximum youth to get involved in this work so that Punjab can be brought out of this difficult situation. Praising the camp’s operators Bhai Parampal Singh Sabra, Baldev Singh Malhi Usman, Sardar Kabal Singh, Sardar Pyara Singh, Giani Harpreet Singh also congratulated them for doing a noble work.
On this occasion, former minister Sardar Surjit Singh Rakhra, former SGPC president Bhai Gobind Singh Longowal, Satwinder Singh Tohra, member SGPC, Gagandeep Singh Dhaliwal, Amrinder Singh Bani Brar, Manpreet Singh Bholuwala were present with him.
