Committee to be formed to investigate accidents involving Haryana Roadways buses - Transport Minister.

Chandigarh, September 13 - Haryana Transport Minister Mr. Anil Vij today said that a committee will be formed to investigate accidents involving Haryana Roadways buses and this committee will include technical officers as well as the police investigation officer.

Mr. Vij today took strict notice of the death of two women due to a collision between a tractor-trolley and a Haryana Roadways bus in Sirsa and ordered the Additional Chief Secretary of the Transport Department to conduct an investigation.
He directed that a practice should be set in future to investigate accidents involving Roadways buses so that action will be taken against whoever is found guilty.
He said that whenever such accidents occur with Haryana Roadways buses in the future, an investigation will be made mandatory. A committee will be formed regarding these accidents, which will include technical officers as well as police investigation officers, so that it can be found out who was at fault in the road accident. If the drivers of our roadways drive wrongly, then action will be taken against them.
