
Honoring students who performed well in musical competitions.
Hoshiarpur:- Recently, Miri Piri Sewa Society Bodal Garna Sahib (Dasuha) Hoshiarpur in collaboration with Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee and Dharam Prachar Committee Sri Amritsar organized the second Shabad Kirtan competition dedicated to the martyrdom of the ninth Guru Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji in which students from various institutions participated enthusiastically.

In these competitions, two students of Khalsa College Mahilpur, Jai Sharma and Karamjit Singh, brought glory to the institution by securing first place in various competitions. In this regard, the said students were honored today by the Principal of the college, Dr. Parvinder Singh and the staff of the music department.
Speaking on the occasion, Head of the Music Department Dr. Kuldeep Singh said that BA Part II student Jai Sharma secured the first position in the Tanti Saaj competition and MA (Music) Part I student Karamjit Singh secured the first position in Tabla playing.
On this occasion, all the staff members including the Principal congratulated the students on their achievements. Professor Mandeep Gautam, Baljinder Singh etc. were also present on the occasion.
