Una, September 21 – Under the aegis of the Sub-Divisional Legal Services Committee, Una, a successful one-day legal awareness camp was organized in Gram Panchayat Malahat, Una, on Sunday. The program was presided over by the committee's chairperson and Senior Civil Judge, Neha Sharma. A large number of local residents, Anganwadi workers, youth, and students attended the camp.

The program was presided over by the committee's chairperson and Senior Civil Judge, Neha Sharma. A large number of local residents, Anganwadi workers, youth, and students attended the camp.
During the program, Senior Civil Judge Neha Sharma elaborated on the provisions of the NALSA Compensation Scheme, 2018, and the Himachal Pradesh (Victims of Crime) Compensation Scheme, 2019. She explained that these schemes have been created to provide financial and legal assistance to women and other victims of sexual harassment and other crimes.
She stated that legal awareness empowers and empowers society to strive for justice. It is essential for every citizen to be aware of their rights and duties so that they can effectively raise their voice against injustice.
Advocate Neha Puri also provided detailed information on legal aid, domestic violence, and the Women and Child Protection Act, among other legal topics. Malahat Panchayat's Deputy Pradhan Ravindra Kumar, Secretary Chandrashekhar, Anganwadi workers and a large number of local people were present in the camp.
