Balachaur:- In view of the procurement of paddy in the sub-division, SDM Kritika Goyal today visited Karawar, Sahiba and Saroya mandis and reviewed the arrangements for the procurement of paddy. In addition to talking to the concerned officers and employees, SDM Kritika Goyal reviewed the arrangements in the mandis and said that the procurement of paddy will be carried out in a smooth manner.
She said that the farmers will not be allowed to face any difficulty in bringing the crop and their crop will be purchased on time and payments will be made within the stipulated time. She has appealed to the farmers to bring only dry paddy with the specified moisture content to the mandis so that the immediate procurement of the crop can be ensured.
She said that adequate facilities have been provided in all the procurement centers in the sub-division and sufficient quantity of gunpowder is also available.
