Rao Narbir Singh was addressing the people present at the sapling planting program organized under Sewa Pakhwada in Bir, Hisar today. On this occasion, 1500 trees were planted here and promotional vehicles were also flagged off.
He said that food, drink and air are the most needed by humans to live a healthy life, but these three things are constantly getting polluted. He said that the government has started several programs to enhance environmental protection. The Cabinet Minister said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has started the campaign "One Tree in the Name of Mother". Under this campaign, every person should not only plant a tree in the name of his mother but should also take care of it. A person feels emotionally connected with a tree planted in the name of his mother. He said that 75 Namo Vans will be developed in the state, out of which 3 will be established in Hisar district.
