Shivalik Hills Welfare Society organized 46th Ayurvedic Medical Camp at Mohalla Neelkanth.

Hoshiarpur- Shivalik Hills Welfare Society Hoshiarpur organized 46th Ayurvedic Medical Camp at Mohalla Neelkanth in collaboration with Ayurvedic Department of Punjab Government. Dr. Ritu, Upved Jasvir Thakur, Pharmacist Tulika Sharma, Health Worker Jyoti Puri, Neetu Kaur and Assistant Gurpreet Singh appointed by District Ayurvedic and Unani Officer Hoshiarpur Dr. Pradeep Kanwar examined more than 100 men, women and children and gave medicines to 84 needy patients.

On this occasion, Chief Advisor Retired Secretary Red Cross Amarjit Hamrol informed about the public welfare work done by the organization that every month, vaccination of mother and child health center will be done in the project area. Information is given about the care of pregnant and newborn children and the health of the mother. Along with this, the organization is providing information about the destructive effects of drugs by conducting seminars under the 'War on Drugs' campaign. On this occasion, Dr. Pradeep Kanwar said that the Ayurvedic Department is organizing medical camps in economically backward areas in collaboration with social service organizations so that medicines can be provided near their homes and participation can be found in building a healthy society. On this occasion, Anganwadi workers Nirmala Devi, Sunita Rani and renowned social worker Baldev Singh of the area provided special support for the smooth running of the camp.
