SAS Nagar, September 13, 2025: Greater Mohali Area Development Authority today held a camp to issue permits for applications submitted by promoters/builders and other stakeholders. A total of 45 clearance certificates were issued in the camp organized at PUDA Bhawan, Sector 62, SAS Nagar.
Presiding over the proceedings, Shri Vishesh Sarangal, IAS, Chief Administrator handed over Letter of Intent, Completion Certificate, Architectural Control, Building Plan, Promoter Registration Certificate, Zoning Plan etc. to 45 applicants.
Although the purpose of the camp was to hand over clearance certificates, residents of some projects brought their problems to the notice. The Chief Administrator patiently listened to the complaints and most of the cases were resolved on the spot.
In cases where discussion was required, Mr. Sarangal assured the people that the issues would be addressed at the required level and resolved at the earliest. He directed the concerned officers to take up these cases on priority basis so that the grievances brought to their notice by the residents could be resolved.
The Chief Administrator stressed that the Authority is committed to timely disposal of the grievances received, whether from the general public or from promoters and developers and the work of the staff is being constantly monitored to ensure that the cases do not remain pending for long.
Expressing satisfaction over the disposal of their cases, the promoters/developers and stakeholders appreciated the efforts of the Authority in setting up camps. He said that he is completely satisfied with the disposal of his applications, which have been processed in a time-bound manner.
The camp was attended by Mr. Amarinder Singh Malli, Additional Chief Administrator, GMADA; Mr. Ravinder Singh, Estate Officer (Plot and Housing); Mr. Jaswinder Singh Kahlon, Estate Officer (Policy) and officers of Estate Office, Planning Wing and other branches.
