The second phase of a special awareness campaign to promote Scheduled Caste welfare schemes begins in Una on the 6th.

Under the campaign, theatre groups associated with the Information and Public Relations Department will inform people about government welfare schemes and the process of availing their benefits through songs, music, and street plays. The objective is to disseminate information about the schemes directly to the public and increase social awareness.
Director of the Information and Public Relations Department, Rajiv Kumar, stated that the first phase of the campaign has been completed in Una district. In the second phase, programs will be held in 10 Scheduled Caste-dominated villages in the district, with four awareness programs organized in each assembly constituency. The campaign will also focus on drug de-addiction and social awareness.

He informed that in the second phase of the awareness campaign, awareness programmes will be organised by Purvi Kala Manch Jalgran Tabba from 6th to 10th October. In which, government policies, programmes and various public welfare schemes for the welfare of Scheduled Castes will be promoted through songs, music and street plays.
He informed that on 6th October in Balh Kholi and Dadiyar of Bangana, on 7th in Dhamandri and Kuriyala, on 8th in Saloh Aparla and Dulehar Aparla of Haroli, on 9th in Khadd Khas and Kungrat and on 10th October in Basoli Aparli and Sasan of Una, people will be entertained through songs, music and street plays and information will be given about the schemes being run in public interest.
