Hoshiarpur:- Jaswinder Singh of village Badial, whose left hand was severely injured and amputated during wheat harvesting, has been provided financial assistance by the Punjab government. Under this assistance, a cheque of Rs 48,000 was handed over by Market Committee Hoshiarpur Chairman Jaspal Singh Chechi.
Jaspal Singh Chechi said that the aim of this initiative of the government is to provide support to farmers and laborers in difficult times, so that they can overcome the challenges of life.
This assistance received by Jaswinder Singh Badial will not only be a help to his family but will also send a message that the government and the administration are always with the farmers. Market Committee Chairman Jaspal Singh Chechi said that the Punjab government is committed to the welfare of farmers and every section associated with agriculture.
He said that assistance is provided to the people who have suffered accidents during farming so that they can continue their lives smoothly. He said that such schemes provide relief to the affected families and send a message of solidarity in the society.
