Hoshiarpur- On the instructions of Additional Deputy Commissioner (J) Amarbir Kaur Bhullar, the team of District Town Planner Office, Hoshiarpur took action by demolishing five unauthorized colonies located outside the limits of the Municipal Corporation.
Giving information in this regard, District Town Planner Sanjay Kumar said that on August 20, in the presence of the Duty Magistrate and police force, five unauthorized colonies developed in village Galrian Tehsil Mukerian, village Zahidpur Awana Tehsil Mukerian, village Nangal Bihala Sub-Tehsil Hajipur, village Begpur Kamluh Sub-Tehsil Hajipur and village Haryana Tehsil Hoshiarpur were demolished.
He said that this campaign against unauthorized colonies will continue in the future as well. Also, the general public has been warned not to buy plots in such illegal colonies, so that they do not lose their money and do not have to face any kind of difficulty in the future.
