Garhshanker, 7 December: Democratic Teachers Front Punjab State President Vikramdev Patiala held an online meeting and decided to send a collective demand letter to the District/Tehsil centers on 9-10 December and to march towards the house of Aam Aadmi Party State President Aman Arora on 15 December against the reduction in the pay grade of PTI, Art Craft teachers and not giving the opportunity to be selected in all the vacant stations during promotion.
Giving information in this regard, Punjab State General Secretary Mahendra Kaurwali, Finance Secretary Ashwini Awasthi, Joint Secretary Mukesh Kumar and District President Sukhdev Dancewal said that the Education Department (DSC Secondary) has revised the salary of PTI teachers and Art and Craft teachers and reduced the pay scale from 4400 to 3200 and a letter has been issued through the Finance Department regarding recovery from these teachers. 
Similarly, under the anti-education and teacher promotion policy, hundreds of teachers have been deprived of promotion due to not showing vacant posts in all schools in the remaining promotions including Primary to Master Carder, Master Card to Lecturer, PTI to DPE, Non-Teaching to Master Card and under the new education policy 2020 of Modi government, education has started being disrupted by keeping vacant posts in thousands of schools on the basis of the number of students.
On both the issues, Democratic Teachers Front Punjab will send a memorandum to Finance Minister Punjab Mr. Harpal Cheema through the District DO on 9th and 10th December and through SDM at tehsil level and will take action by taking out a state level protest march towards the residence of Aam Aadmi Party and Punjab President and Cabinet Sub-Committee Member Aman Arora in Sunam at 11 am on Sunday, 15th December.
He appealed to all the teachers to unite for the above issues and participate more actively in these organizational programs. At this time Hans Raj Gadhshankar, Satpal Kaler, Amarjit Bangar, Jarnail Singh Jaswinder Singh Balkar Singh Mangania, Rajkumar, Satnam Singh Bangar PTI, Manpreet Singh Boha etc were present.
