SAS Nagar, September 5 – With the support of Shiromani Akali Dal, SGPC and urban donors, a truck of essential goods was dispatched for the flood victims of Rajasansi constituency, which was formally flagged off by Akali Dal District Jathedar Parvinder Singh Sohana. The truck included mosquito nets and dry rations as well as essential household items.
Speaking on the occasion, Jathedar Sohana said that as per the directions of party president Sukhbir Singh Badal, help to the affected families will continue till the flood-affected families are back on their feet. He said that in the coming days, as per the orders of Mr. Sukhbir Badal, 50 trucks of relief material will be dispatched from Mohali district, which will be flagged off by the party president himself.
On this occasion, besides others, Manjit Singh Mann, Avtar Singh Daun, Kesar Singh Balongi, Bikram Singh Gigemajra, Balwinder Singh Lakhnoor, Jagtar Singh Dharamgarh all circle presidents, Harvinder Singh Sohana, Gurmeet Singh Raipur Khurd, Karamjit Singh Mauli Baidwan and Harinder Singh Sukhgarh all four Lambardars, Bhupinder Singh Sahib Property, Aman Punia and Sukhman Khatra etc. leaders were present.
