
Release of 'Barf' Ch Uge Amaltas' - New issue of Pratiman also presented to the public
Chandigarh, May 19- Patiala 'Pratimaan Sahitya Manch' of expatriate writer Gurinderjit's new book 'Barf' Cha Uge Amaltas' Release function and symposium were organised. The event was presided over by poet and former I.R.S. Mr. B.S. Ratan did it. As chief guest Shri. Jaswant Singh Zafar, Director, Language Department Punjab and other notable personalities also participated.

D. Amarjeet Konke, founder of the forum, said that the aim of Pratimaan is to create dialogue on 'good literature' and among the readers. To develop interest in reading. After the release of the book, a new issue of 'Pratimaan' magazine was also released.
Talking about his writing process, Gurinderjit said that this book is based on his past and The present experience is born out of the struggle. During the discussion, scholars discussed various aspects of the book – nostalgia, sentiment, humor, heritage and modernity. Combination of—shared the above thoughts.
Jaswant Singh Zafar said that the writer remembers the old Punjab through nostalgia, but the new Punjab He is no longer the same. B.S. Ratan said that this book is very beneficial for the new generations living abroad.
In the end many poets shared their poems with the audience. Dr. Gurvinder Aman conducted the stage and Navdeep Mundi thanked all the guests. Despite the scorching heat, about 70 writers and readers enjoyed the coolness of this literary event.
