
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann falls ill, cancels Gurdaspur visit with Kejriwal.
Chandigarh- Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is ill. A senior official of the Chief Minister's Office has confirmed this. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who had reached Punjab last evening to take stock of the flood-affected areas of Gurdaspur, today visited Mann's official residence and inquired about his health.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who had reached Punjab last evening to take stock of the flood-affected areas of Gurdaspur, today visited Mann's official residence and inquired about his health.
It is worth noting that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was to visit the flood-affected areas in Gurdaspur with Kejriwal today. About 324 villages of Gurdaspur are currently under the impact of floods. Chief Minister Mann has cancelled his proposed visit to Gurdaspur. According to sources, party president Aman Arora and senior party leaders will now go to Gurdaspur with Kejriwal in Mann's place.
Chief Minister Mann is allegedly suffering from high fever, which is due to a viral infection. Doctors are taking care of him at his residence. An official said he will recover by the evening and will chair the Punjab Cabinet meeting on Friday.
