Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, February 6: Today, members of District Safe School Vehicle Committee checked school buses at Amity International School, Sector 79 regarding the terms/rules of Safe School Vehicle Scheme.
In this committee, District Education Officer Prem Kumar Mittal and Regional Transport Office Ranpreet Singh Bheura STA PB01 (STA PB01)-cum-Motor Vehicle Inspector, Surinder Singh ASI Traffic Zone 3, Maninder Singh Assistant, District Child Protection Department, Komal Nanda Assistant, Education Department along with Amity School Manager (Transport) Sachin Saini made the school bus drivers and lady attendants aware about the maintenance of school buses as per the Safe School Vehicle Scheme, following safe driving rules and behaving well with children. 
On this occasion, all the school buses present were checked and inspected and it was found that the cameras, fire extinguishers and fast aid boxes etc. present in these school buses were found to be in good condition. Drivers were also made aware of road rules, regular medical checkups, and renewing their licenses from time to time.
