Hoshiarpur- An important meeting regarding the nationwide strike to be held on July 09 of JPMO Block Mahilpur was held in Mahilpur under the leadership of Kashmir Singh Makhangarh, Baldev Dhakon and Malkit Singh Bahowal. State Convener Employees-Pensioners Front Punjab Satish Rana specially attended this meeting.
Addressing the meeting, state leader Satish Rana said that the Modi government at the Center is creating an atmosphere of hatred in the country by destroying the Ganga-Yamuna culture of the country by religious fanaticism, discrimination against minorities, saffronization of education policy and tampering with the Constitution. The peace-loving people of the country will not tolerate this at any cost.
Makhhan Singh Langeri, Amarjit Kumar, Jairam Barian, Paramjit Katib and Kamaljit Kaur Kharari said during their address that parallel to the Modi government at the Center, the Bhagwant Mann government of Punjab is economically exploiting employees, pensioners, laborers and general employees.
Old pension, regularization of all types of temporary employees, arrears of DA-Pay Commission, restoration of 37 cut allowances and many other legitimate and valid demands are not being resolved. The leaders said that the governments taking anti-people decisions cannot stand for long in front of the struggle of the people.
The leaders reprimanded the central and state governments and said that the demands of employees, pensioners and common people should be accepted immediately. The leaders said that this nationwide strike of 09 July will be made successful by maximum participation.
On this occasion, Shindpal, Manjinder Halluwal, Jaskaranjit Singh, Babu Om Dutt, Gurnam Singh, Satnam Singh, Ram Asra, Manjinder Singh, Vinder, Balwinder Kaur, Rashpal Kaur, Paramjit Kaur, Balwinder Kaur, Surinder Kaur Rajni, Rashpal Langeri, Jasvir Kaur, Sudesh Rani, Harpreet Kaur, Asha Rani and Geeta Rani were present.
