SAS Nagar, September 23 - Ikjot Pal Singh, President of Lions Club Panchkula Premier, took over as President during a function organized here. The function was inaugurated by Constituency MLA Sardar Kulwant Singh.
He appreciated the social work dedicated to the welfare of humanity by the Lions Club and said that such works always bring relief to the needy.
He said that he was very impressed with the work done by the District Governor of District 321-2A of the club, Dinesh Batra and his team. On this occasion, he promised to work closely with the members of the club, so that the people who need help the most can be reached.
He assured to explore the idea of ??dedicating a chowk in Mohali to the Lions Club. On this occasion, Raman Kumar and Amarjit Singh Sidhu were also appointed as Secretary and Treasurer respectively.
