Hoshiarpur: Valmiki Committee member Sarpanch Shinderpal led a meeting with Lok Sabha member Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal to construct toilets at Valmiki Dharamshala and put their problem before him. He released a grant of Rs 1.5 lakh to Gram Panchayat Patti and gave directions that the work of constructing toilets at Dharamshalas should be completed before the Pargat Diwas of Bhagwan Valmiki Ji.
Lok Sabha member Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal said that the state government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is continuously making efforts to uplift every section of the society. He assured the committee members that the grant for other unfinished works like langar hall and boundary wall will also be released soon in the coming time.
On this occasion, members of the Panchayat Sohan Lal, Ashok Kumar, Ashwani Kumar, Deepak, Nishant Kumar, Mohan Lal, Sandeep Kumar, Pramod Kumar, Rajesh Kumar, Manav Sahota, Ravi Kumar, Shiv Kumar, Rohit Kumar, Puneet Kumar and other members were also present.
