Una, June 25- Two fair price shops will be opened under Vikas Khand Una. District Controller Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Una Rajeev Sharma while giving information said that fair price shops will be opened in Ward No. 1 of Municipal Corporation Una and Ward No. 4 of Gram Panchayat Fatehpur.
He said that interested persons can apply for this on the online portal https://emerginghimachal.hp.gov.in from June 27 to July 17. The minimum educational qualification of the applicant must be matriculation pass and the age limit should be 18-45 years.
Rajeev Sharma said that public institutions or public bodies like Gram Panchayat, Self Help Groups, Cooperative Sabhas and Mahila Mandal/Women's Institutions will be given priority for fair price shops.
Apart from this, second priority will be given to single women, widow women whose children are dependent on her, physically handicapped persons as defined by the Women and Child Development Department, Himachal Pradesh, as defined in the Disability Act 1955 and capable of efficiently managing a fair price shop, ex-servicemen, educated unemployed whose family members are not employed in a permanent job. Apart from this, third priority is given to applications from Himachal Pradesh State Civil Supplies Corporation.
Rajeev Sharma informed that applications will be received through online medium only. Apart from this, necessary documents like single woman, widow, disability certificate, ex-servicemen, unemployment certificate etc. should be issued by the competent authority, otherwise the application will be considered automatically cancelled if the required documents are not uploaded.
