Hoshiarpur- A special lecture was organized on the topic 'Contribution of Music in Human Life' by Professor Jagdeep Singh, Head of the Music Department of Sant Baba Dalip Singh Memorial Khalsa College Dumeli, an educational institution running under the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee.
On this occasion, Professor Jagdeep Singh, Head of the Music Department, told the students in this lecture that music has a great contribution in our lives. Human beings revolve around music throughout their lives since birth, because music provides peace to the soul and is the food of the human soul.
Just as a human being needs bread to live, similarly musical entertainment is needed for peace and tranquility of mind. On this occasion, College Principal Dr. Gurnam Singh Rasoolpur Ji, while addressing the students, said that music is of great importance in connecting the soul with God. All the staff and students of the college were present on this occasion.
