Voter awareness campaign along with the crops in the Mandi

Hoshiarpur - The district sweep team is educating the voters of the district about voting in different ways every day so that the target of 70 percent voting in the district can be achieved. Under the same series, the sweep team under the leadership of District Sweep Nodal Officer Preet Kohli and Assistant Sweep Nodal Officer Ankur Sharma conducted a voter awareness bid along with crops in Rahimpur Mandi of Hoshiarpur. This unique method adopted by the district sweep team for voter awareness under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer Komal Mittal was highly appreciated by all and vowed to vote on June 1.

At 6 o'clock in the morning on Friday, when the bids were being made for the vegetables and fruits coming in the market, in the meantime, the sweep team, in the traditional dress of Punjab, arrived with tambourines and tongs, made such a voter awareness bid to make the voters aware. That everyone started making videos of them watching them. At first people did not understand what was going on, but gradually they understood and everyone enthusiastically participated in the voter awareness campaign.
     The sweep team reached Rahimpur Mandi, bidding for voter awareness, asking the people what time they will leave their homes to vote on June 1. Some bid for voter awareness to vote at 1 pm, some at 12 pm, some at 10 am and some at 8 am. Meanwhile, the bidders were honored with voter awareness cap (cap) by the district sweep team. Daily traders buy all the crops, vegetables and fruits from the farmers by placing bids in the markets. Under the same series, the district sweep team conducted a voter awareness campaign today and made the voters aware to vote as early as possible on 1st June 2024. So that farmers, traders, workers can all contribute to this festival of elections for the strengthening of democracy. Meanwhile, Assistant Nodal Officer Media Communication Rajnish Guliani, Neeraj Dhiman and Lokesh Sharma from the sweep team supported the voter awareness campaign.
