S.A.S. Nagar, May 31- Harminder Singh Paton, the chief sevadar of Panthak Akali Lehar from Mohali, has said that the recent news of some Sikh families converting to Christianity in Tatarganj village of Pilibhit has sparked a discussion all over the world as to why people are turning away from Sikhism and becoming Christians.
He said that the main reason for this is their poverty or lack of propagation of our religion, and this is raising questions on the functioning of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee.
He said that those whose job was to take care of their community are busy saving the boat of one family from sinking, due to which our community is scattered without any leadership, which is a very shameful thing for Sikhism.
