Una, March 11 - To speed up the development works in the Panchayats of Haroli assembly constituency, new Panchayat community buildings are being constructed so that the people of Haroli Halke Panchayats can get all the good Panchayat facilities under one roof to get their work done. . Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri laid the foundation stone and inaugurated various developmental works worth about Rs 57 crore in Haroli Vis area, which include Karod Panchayat Ghar Bathu, Kungdat, Panchayat Ghar Samnal, Panchayat Ghar Lower Khad and Panchayat Ghar Badhera. An amount of Rs 1.14 crore per building will be spent on all these Panchayat Community Center buildings. The Deputy Chief Minister performed the Bhoomi Pujan of the Pandoga-Tyudi Bridge to be constructed at a cost of approximately Rs 51 crore. During this, he also inaugurated the new PWD Division Office at Haroli and also inaugurated the newly constructed Government Primary School Kailua Bhawan at a cost of about Rs 25 lakh.
On this occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister said that the chariot of development is being continuously given momentum in Haroli Vis area so that people can get all kinds of facilities at their doorstep. He said that Haroli Vis area is currently emerging as a developed area in which every possible step is being taken to speed up the development works keeping in mind every kind of convenience of the people. He said that a new division of Public Works Department has been opened in Haroli Vis area which has been inaugurated today. He said that the opening of PWD division will give impetus to the development work of the area. He said that before this, a division of Jal Shakti Department has also been opened for the convenience of the people. Apart from this, a police station has also been opened in Bathu so that other illegal activities including illegal mining and drug mafia can be controlled.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that the longest bridge in Himachal Pradesh is in Haroli Vis area. In this series, the second bridge which will be built from Pandoga to Tyuri at a cost of about Rs 51 crore, has been formally laid to rest. He said that the construction of this bridge will benefit the people of Haroli and Kutlahar assembly constituencies and this bridge will prove to be a milestone for the development of the area. He said that this bridge will be ready in about 1.5 to two years and around 15 nearby panchayats will benefit and along with saving people's time, distance will also be reduced. He said that all the basic facilities are being provided to the people in Haroli Vis area on priority basis so that the people of the area do not have to face any kind of problem.
Mukesh Agnihotri said that Haroli has become a hub of education. Three government colleges have been opened in the area to provide higher education to the children of Haroli. The construction work of Haroli College building is being done at a fast pace. Triple IT, Kendriya Vidyalaya and two ITIs have also been opened in the area. Here the best quality education is being provided to the children and the children receiving education from these institutions are serving in big institutions of the state and the country. He told that a bus stand and circuit house are being built in Haroli. Along with this, the process of building a big institute for the health care of animals is also going on.
Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri said that patients should get better facilities in Haroli Hospital. For this, the capacity of the hospital from 50 beds has been increased to 100 beds. Apart from this, he said that Haroli festival has also been given the status of state level festival. He said that PHC will also be opened in Baliwal. Apart from this, he said that steps are being taken towards providing more and more employment opportunities to the unemployed youth in the state.
