Patiala, January 24 - As part of the activities being conducted under Road Safety Month, an awareness program was conducted at Chalde Driver Training School for drivers, conductors and helpers as per the guidelines of PRTC Chairman Ranjodh Singh Hadana and MD Ravinder Singh. On this occasion, Chairman Hadana said that drivers and conductors of PRTC are our traffic safety heroes.
Meanwhile, the retired district training officer of Red Cross Society Kaka Ram Verma gave training on first aid, CPR, care of the injured, heart attacks, angina, cardiac arrest and saving people trapped in gas fumes from dying.
Ashish Sharma, Manager of Maruti Suzuki Driving Training School, gave information about the traffic rules, laws and the qualities, knowledge, habits and emotions of good drivers to avoid accidents while driving on the roads. Counselors Amrit Pal and Parvinder Kaur Verma of Punjab De-addiction Center Saket Hospital gave information about drug-related deaths, accidents, crimes and fights. Patiala Foundation Chairman Ravi Singh Ahluwalia, Miss Vidhya and Rawal Deep gave information about traffic rules, laws, principles, etiquette, duties and responsibilities.
