Strict action will be taken against those who sell and store China Door - Komal Mittal

Hoshiarpur - Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal instructed the officials to take strict action against those who sell, buy and store china doors in the district and take necessary steps to prevent accidents. He was addressing a meeting of the district officials regarding stopping the sale of China Door at the district administrative complex today. Meanwhile, Commissioner Municipal Corporation Hoshiarpur Jyoti Bala Mattu, SP (Headquarters) Manjit Kaur and IAS Divya PV were also present with him.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner instructed the District Education Officer to inform the school students about not using the China Door through the school principals. He appealed to the residents of the district and said that if any shopkeeper is selling china doors in the district, they can report it on helpline number 112, their name and address will be kept confidential. He said that by conducting a campaign against it in the entire district, necessary steps are being taken to stop its sale. He instructed all the SDMs and EOs of the district to do continuous checking and directed that strict action should be taken against those who sell and buy china doors. He directed the executive officers of the Municipal Council and Municipal Panchayats to sensitize the people not to use China Door through the NGOs of their constituency.
Komal Mittal said that it has been observed that children use synthetic, plastic china doors to fly kites, leading to incidents of throat and ear cuts and sometimes two-wheelers falling under the door. Drivers often become victims of fatal accidents. He said that apart from this, birds also get trapped in the China Door and get injured or die. Due to dead birds hanging on the plants, the environment is also polluted with bad smell. He appealed to the residents of the district and said not to use the high china door and to make their children aware about it. On this occasion, SDM Hoshiarpur Preetinder Singh Bains, SDM Garhshankar Shivraj Singh Bal, SDM Dasuha Pradeep Singh Bains, SDM Tanda Vyom Bharadwaj, SDM Mukerian Ashok Kumar and other officials were also present.
