Development work is going on for the improvement of every constituency of the state - Brahm Shankar Gimpa

Hoshiarpur - Cabinet Minister Punjab Brahm Shankar Gimpa said that the Punjab government is conducting various development works for the improvement of every constituency, after the completion of which the infrastructure of different constituencies will get new strength. He was addressing the residents of the area today while starting the construction work of the street at a cost of 35 lakh rupees in Mohalla Dashmesh Nagar of Ward No. 24. Meanwhile, Mayor Surinder Kumar, Senior Deputy Mayor Praveen Saini and Deputy Mayor Ranjit Chaudhary were also present with him.

The cabinet minister said that the people of Punjab have brought a government working on the thought of progress under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Maan. He said that since the first year of the formation of the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab, the promises made to the people had started to be fulfilled, in which 600 units of free electricity, 42 thousand youths with permanent jobs etc. are the main ones. He said that more than 35 drinking water tube wells are being installed in Hoshiarpur Assembly Constituency itself, out of which 11 tube wells have been started. Meanwhile, while giving instructions to the municipal officials, he said that the construction works should be started in a planned manner and no negligence should be seen in these works. He directed the officials that special attention should be paid to the quality during the construction of the roads and no negligence will be tolerated. Brahm Shankar Gimpa said that the infrastructure is being strengthened on a priority basis as per the demand of the people. He said that as far as the quality is concerned, the concerned contractor has been instructed in this regard at the time of tender and if there is any deficiency in terms of quality, departmental action will be taken against the concerned. Aam Aadmi Party State Joint Secretary Satwant Singh Ghun, Councilor Pavitar Singh, Baba Balveer Singh Ji, Sanjay, Axion Kuldeep Singh and other dignitaries were also present on this occasion.
