
Mata Ka Baag drinking water scheme will be upgraded in Shri Chintapurni, Deputy Commissioner inspected the schemes of Jal Shakti Department
Una, November 13 - Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal on Wednesday inspected the newly constructed drinking water supply scheme constructed by the Jal Shakti Department at a cost of Rs 12.25 crore for the villages adjoining the Shri Chintpurni area. This scheme will provide clean drinking water to more than 4000 population of the area, along with this, thousands of devotees who come to visit Shri Chintpurni temple will also benefit from this scheme.
Una, November 13 - Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal on Wednesday inspected the newly constructed drinking water supply scheme constructed by the Jal Shakti Department at a cost of Rs 12.25 crore for the villages adjoining the Shri Chintpurni area. This scheme will provide clean drinking water to more than 4000 population of the area, along with this, thousands of devotees who come to visit Shri Chintpurni temple will also benefit from this scheme.
During the inspection, Executive Engineer of Jal Shakti Department Amb, Hoshiyar Singh was also present with the Deputy Commissioner. This drinking water scheme has been constructed on Kalruhi Khad, which will play an important role in overcoming the water crisis of the area.
During this, Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal said that the upgradation work of Mata Ka Bagh drinking water scheme is proposed, which was announced by Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Mukesh Agnihotri during his visit in the month of September. An amount of about Rs 4.50 crore will be spent on this scheme, which will further improve the water supply system of the area and local people and devotees will get more facilities.
The Deputy Commissioner said that this scheme is an important step to strengthen the water supply in the area. Its upgradation will ensure better supply of clean drinking water not only to the local people but also to the devotees visiting Shri Chintapurni. The state government is making efforts to improve the water system in the area so that the public does not have to face any kind of problem.
The Deputy Commissioner also informed that work is going on on other schemes including water supply of the Jal Shakti Department, and completion of these schemes will improve the water supply and sewerage system in the area.
On this occasion, officers of Water Power Department and other administrative staff were also present, who informed the Deputy Commissioner about the status of the scheme and the upcoming works.
