Take advantage of the camps of the Animal Husbandry Department to protect animals from diseases: Pathanmajra

Sanaur (Patiala), December 23 - Sanaur constituency MLA Harmeet Singh Pathanmajra has invited the animal husbandry farmers to take advantage of the camps being organized by the Animal Husbandry Department to protect their animals from diseases. He had arrived in Sanaur today to inaugurate a block-level camp under the Escort scheme by the Animal Husbandry Department to make the animal husbandry farmers aware about the prevention of animal diseases.

He had arrived in Sanaur today to inaugurate a block-level camp under the Escort scheme by the Animal Husbandry Department to make the animal husbandry farmers aware about the prevention of animal diseases.
Pathanmajra informed the people about the production of clean milk, prevention of fake milk, importance of organic farming and told the animal husbandry farmers about the importance of dairy farming. On this occasion, Baljinder Singh, councilors Narinder Singh, Yuvraj Singh, Pardeep Josan, Manga Singh, Gurmeet Singh, Babbu Singh along with the city president Sham Singh also participated in the camp.
Assistant Director Dr. Soninder Kaur, who is supervising the camp, said that as per the guidelines of the Animal Husbandry Minister and under the guidance of the Principal Secretary of the department, a block level Escort Camp has been organized at Sanaur. Dr. Soninder Kaur explained in detail about the schemes of the Animal Husbandry Department Punjab under the Escort Scheme.
Veterinary Officer of Dhakala Dr. Jaswinder Singh made the animal husbandry farmers aware about the prevention of Thaneila disease in dairy cattle, VO Sultanpur Dr. Navpreet Kaur about genetic diseases and care of animals in winter and VO Bhanra Dr. Sanjay Sharma made the animal husbandry farmers aware about vaccination for prevention of various diseases in dairy cattle and sheep and goats. During the camp, free medicines were distributed under the Escort Scheme and problems related to their profession were resolved with the animal husbandry farmers.
