
More than 18 thousand children will be given anti-polio medicine drops by Health Center Kouli
Patiala, December 11 - A total of 18,303 children will be covered under the Sub National Pulse Polio Campaign being conducted from December 10 to 12 under the guidance of Dr. Gurpreet Singh Nagra, SMO of Primary Health Center Kouli under the direction of Civil Surgeon Patiala Dr. Raminder Kaur. At 95 places in the area, 2 transit points and 1 mobile team will administer anti-polio drops to children aged 0 to 5 years.

Giving information in this regard, Block Extension Educator Sarabjit Singh Saini said that on the first day of the Pulse Polio campaign, SMO Dr. Gurpreet Singh Nagra organized the booths set up at various places by Primary Health Center Kouli and on the second day by the health teams going door to door. Inspected the ongoing works. Today, on the second day of the campaign, at Bahadurgarh Dispensary, Itainat RMO Dr. Sukhjinder Singh, Supervisor, along with Medical Affar Dental Dr. Sunakshi, Pharmacy Officer Dilbagh Singh administered anti-polio drops to the children. The mobile team will cover child laborers working in slums, shacks, kilns, pithers, industrial areas, newly constructed buildings.
