SAS Nagar, December 5 - TCU Circle Mohali went on a one-day strike for 24 hours from 12 pm last night. It was attended by the divisions of Circle Mohali, Khas Mandal Division Mohali, O&M 66 KV Mandal Mohali, 220 KV Mandal Mohali, Center Store Division and the respective sub divisions of these divisions.

Giving information regarding this, circle president Gurbakhsh Singh said that on this occasion, the Bharatiya Kisan Union Joginder Singh Ugrahan, while supporting the strike on December 7, decided that a tea langar would be arranged for the comrades involved in the strike. Along with this, preparations were also made for a dharna to be given by the Technical Service Union along with the families at Patiala Head Office on 7th December.

He said that under CRA 295/19, full salaries are not being regularized despite completion of the probationary period of recruited colleagues and dismissed colleagues are not being reinstated despite the agreement to reinstate them. He said that political changes, victimizations are not being resolved and no decision is being taken regarding the demands of the employees due to which there is a lot of anger among the employees.

During the rally, besides others, Lakha Singh Chief Advisor, Jatinder Singh Legal Advisor, Jagdeep Singh, Rajinder Singh Former Chief Organizer, Satwant Singh, Bikram Singh, Jaspal Singh, Radhe Shyam, Harbans Singh, Ajit Singh, Gurmeet Singh, Harjit Singh, Sharanjit Singh. And Vijay Kumar, Paramjit Singh, Kapil Dev, Balveer Singh, Ramesh Gupta etc. were present from Pensioners Association.
