Hoshiarpur- The delegate meeting of City Division Hoshiarpur Pensioners Association was held after three years under the chairmanship of Khushi Ram Dhiman Urban Division Hoshiarpur. On this occasion, a large number of pensioners of PSPCL Urban Division were present. Khushi Ram Dhiman in his address accused the Punjab Government of not accepting the demands of the Employees Union and Pensioners Association.
DK Mehta and Parvesh Kumar Circle Secretary addressed the delegate meeting and presented the action report of the organization and strongly condemned the Punjab Government for not accepting the demands of the pensioners. On this occasion, Ashwani Sharma presented the accounts of three years before the meeting.
The report presented by the General Secretary and the financial report presented by the Finance Secretary were unanimously approved by the House without any opposition. After this, Divisional Committee Chairman Darshan Kumar Mehta and Divisional Secretary Pravesh Kumar presented the panel for the election of the Divisional Committee for a term of three years. This panel was also passed unanimously by the House. In the new elections held as per the panel, President Khushi Ram Dhiman, Senior Vice President Manveer Singh, Vice President Thakur Avtar Singh, Secretary Ashwani Kumar, Joint Secretary Rajinder Singh, Treasurer Jaidev, Press Secretary Roshan Lal, Editor Geetpal Singh, Organiser Didar Singh and Advisor Satpal Kapoor were elected.
