He has said that there are many areas of the district through which flood water passes and people suffer on a large scale. Due to the floods that occurred a few months ago, the villages near the Tangri river in the district of Sanur have also suffered loss of life and property. The people of this region have to bear the brunt of floods every year. MLA Pathan Majra informed about the raised issue and said that crops and houses are also damaged on a large scale due to floods in Sannor constituency. Special attention needs to be paid to the cleanliness of choya passing through the area of ??the district. They have said that there are many chois which have been closed after illegal encroachment and due to their closure the flood water is not drained properly and because of this the flood water accumulates in one place and accumulates very much. y causes damage. He said that the Ghaggar Darya, Miranpur Choa and many other small rivers pass through the district Sanur. Which can also be widened by cleaning and water drainage can be done smoothly. If all the rivers and canals are cleaned properly, the farmers and common people can be saved from floods. He has told that there are many bends in the river Ghaggar due to which the water becomes muddy. If the wing of the ghagar is straightened, the water can be drained at a very high speed. Water coming from Mirapur Chou, Ghaggar River, Markanda and Haryana side causes damage in large area of ??Punjab. Therefore, it is a big issue for the Punjab government that the drainage of flood water should be done properly. He said that they have been trying to save the farmers from floods for a long time. The MLA said that it is their primary duty to provide all facilities to Sannour constituency and take it on the lines of development.
