Hansi: – SDM Rajesh Khoth held a meeting of officials of various departments on Wednesday and seriously reviewed the progress made under the instructions given earlier regarding the cleanliness system of the city, catching stray animals and removing encroachment from the roads and gave necessary guidelines to the officials. SDM Rajesh Khoth first discussed the issue of cleanliness system of the city in the meeting.
During this, the officials of the Municipal Council said that to improve the cleanliness system of the city, the entire city is divided into 9 zones and cleaning is being done regularly. Three wards have been included in each zone, the duty of cleaning staff has been fixed in each ward. The Municipal Council has 27 tipper, four tractor trolleys and one JCB machine.
All these resources are being used regularly. Cleaning work starts every day at 7 am. All the garbage that comes out during cleaning is being dumped at the designated place. SDM said that in order to avoid any delay and negligence in the cleaning work, one officer has been assigned to each zone. These officers have also been instructed to send a report every day.
SDM said that recently, MLA Vinod Bhayana and District Municipal Commissioner Neeraj had held a joint meeting of officers of several departments at the rest house of the local Public Works Department. In this meeting, the MLA had given instructions to clean the city, remove encroachment from the roads and send the stray animals to the appropriate place. To give concrete shape to these instructions, the administration is working at a fast pace.
*Speed ??up the work of catching stray animals:* SDM Rajesh Khoth told the officials of the Municipal Council that till now only 1600 animals out of 2500 animals have been caught by the contractor. He said that there is a need to speed up this work so that Hansi can be made a stray animal free city as soon as possible. On this, the officials of the Municipal Council said that the team formed to catch the destitute animals is working regularly and every day the animals are being caught and taken to the designated Haryana Gaushala, Gopal Gaushala and Gaushala located in Sainpura village. He assured the SDM that this work will be expedited.
*Design of Shri Kali Devi Chowk will be ready soon:* The SDM said that the work of many squares is under construction to further enhance the beauty of the city. He said that the construction work of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Chowk is being completed rapidly. Bhagwan Parshuram Gate and Patel Chowk are under construction. The design of Shri Kali Devi Chowk is being prepared. After the completion of the design work, a detailed project report will be prepared for the construction of this square.
