
Rs 56.67 crore allocated for beautification of Mata Shri Chintapurni Temple
The state government has sanctioned Rs 56.67 crore for beautification of Mata Shri Chintapurni Temple in Una district and to provide basic amenities to the devotees. This amount has been sanctioned in compliance with the orders of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu so that better facilities can be provided to the devotees along with promoting religious tourism in the state.
The state government has sanctioned Rs 56.67 crore for beautification of Mata Shri Chintapurni Temple in Una district and to provide basic amenities to the devotees. This amount has been sanctioned in compliance with the orders of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu so that better facilities can be provided to the devotees along with promoting religious tourism in the state.
The sanctioned amount will be used to provide state-of-the-art queue complex (Q Complex) with lift facility, clean drinking water supply and CCTV facility in the temple premises. Apart from this, a plastic shredder and solid waste recycling and management plant will be installed, which will maintain cleanliness in the temple premises by effectively disposing of the waste in the temple premises.
Appropriate signage and shops for local shopkeepers will be constructed for the convenience of the devotees. The aim of these innovative initiatives is to further improve the overall experience of the devotees visiting the temple.
The spokesperson of the state government said that the present state government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, is providing better facilities to the devotees by upgrading the infrastructure to give new dimensions to religious tourism in the state. He said that Mata Shri Chintapurni Temple is a famous Shaktipeeth of North India and lakhs of devotees visit this Shaktipeeth every year. These facilities will contribute significantly in making the journey of the devotees more convenient and comfortable.
