STF DSP Rajesh Kumar said that STF SAS Nagar had received an intelligence tip that Sukhdev alias Sukha resident of village Mangalpur police station Sadar Nirwana district Jind (Haryana), Tejinder Singh alias Teji resident of village Kambali police station Bassi Pathana. District Fatehgarh Sahib, Samar Singh alias Samra resident of Village Muste K Thana Arif K District Ferozepur and Lovepreet Singh alias Love resident of Village Jama Rakhaia Hithar Police Station Mamdot District Ferozepur (who are in the business of selling heroin) ride in a Maruti to sell heroin to their customers. They have come to Mohali area. Those who have illegal weapons today. If the said incidents can be controlled and heroin and illegal weapons can be found in their possession.
He said that the police took immediate action in this regard and on the instructions of the Chief Police Station and along with SI Hakam Singh, the police party blockaded Madanpur Chowk and arrested the said persons along with their car. From whom 30 grams of heroin, a country cut including 2 country live cartridges and 10 live rounds of KF 32 SBW. L was recovered.
He said that during interrogation, Sukhdev alias Sukha told that there are 4 cases registered against him earlier in CIA Nirvana (Haryana) and Thana Sadar Nirvana in which he is a fugitive and has run away from home to avoid his arrest. He was living on rent in a society in Sante Majra for the last 8 months and brings heroin from Ferozepur at a cheap rate and sells it to his customers at an expensive rate in Kharar. They said that Tejinder Singh (who is a resident of village Kambali, district Fatehgarh Sahib) lives next to it and whenever they go out to supply heroin, it drives.
He said that during interrogation, Samar Singh alias Samra said that he drives in this drive and a case is registered against him at SSOC Fazilka police station, in which 3 kg of heroin and 250 grams of opium were recovered from him and his accomplices. . He has been in jail for almost 3 years. A case under the NDPS Act has also been registered against this person at Police Station Sri Karanpur Sahib, District Ganga Nagar (Rajasthan).
He said that a case has been registered against the fourth person Lovepreet Singh alias Love earlier at VST Phase-4 Mohali. 60 grams of heroin was found in his possession. They said that these four buy heroin at a cheap rate from Ferozepur Khatar and sell it to their customers at Mohali, Kharar at an expensive rate. When they bring heroin, they stay at different places in Mohali, Balongi, Kharar and Nawan Graun area.
He said that these persons are being produced in the honorable court today and they will be interrogated in depth after obtaining police remand.
