On this occasion, Dussehra Committee President Kamal Kishore Sharma said that the second Shobha Yatra will be taken out on the auspicious occasion of Ashtami on October 22. He said that like every year, this year also with the support of the Dussehra committee and the people of the city, a girl from a needy family will be married on October 20 at Bhagwan Parashuram Bhavan. Dussehra festival will be celebrated on 24th, in which huge effigies of Lankapati Ravana, Kumbhakaran, Meghnath will be offered to fire.
During Shobha Yatra, Lions Club Kharar City and Sangat installed water and fruit langars at different places.
