Karnal, October 3: Under the guidance of District and Sessions Judge and Chairman of the District Legal Services Authority, Ajay Kumar Sharda, the District Legal Services Authority organized an awareness camp for the students of Government College, Karnal on Friday.
At the camp, Chief Judicial Magistrate and Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, Dr. Iram Hasan, informed the students about the laws related to sexual harassment at the workplace and introduced them to the Standing Committee and Internal Committee. 
She encouraged the students to file any genuine complaint and urged them never to misuse the Act and file false complaints. She also provided information on drug prohibition and cybercrime. 
The CJM honored the students who participated in the competitions with certificates of appreciation on the occasion of International Literacy Day. Principal Dr. Rekha Tyagi urged the students to apply the information provided in the awareness camp to their own lives and share it with their peers.
