
UT Retired Teachers' Special Meeting Discusses Demands
Chandigarh- A special meeting of UT Retired Teachers' Organizations was held at Saini Bhawan Sector-24, Chandigarh under the chairmanship of the organization's President Bahadur Singh Gosal. In this meeting, long-pending demands were discussed in detail. Former DEO Mr. Raghbir Singh Goraya, former Principal Vikramjit Kaur, Jaswant Singh, Madam Neelam Narang and Paramjit Singh were among the participants in this discussion. Discussions were also held to strengthen the organization.
Chandigarh- A special meeting of UT Retired Teachers' Organizations was held at Saini Bhawan Sector-24, Chandigarh under the chairmanship of the organization's President Bahadur Singh Gosal. In this meeting, long-pending demands were discussed in detail. Former DEO Mr. Raghbir Singh Goraya, former Principal Vikramjit Kaur, Jaswant Singh, Madam Neelam Narang and Paramjit Singh were among the participants in this discussion. Discussions were also held to strengthen the organization.
On this occasion, first of all, the organization's President Bahadur Singh Gosal said that for a long time, there has been a demand from the administration that "Hind Di Chadar Teachers' Home" should be established first in the works dedicated to the 350th martyrdom day of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji this year. But no meaningful work has been done so far. He said that many organizations of Chandigarh have appealed to the Chandigarh Administration in favor of this demand, which is the need of the hour.
Former DEO Raghbir Singh Goraya and Madam Vikramjit Kaur stressed on further strengthening the organization and asked the administration to accept the demands immediately. Mr. Paramjit Singh and Principal Jaswant Singh appealed to settle all the cases of notice-pay of retired teachers at the earliest.
They also appealed to the newly retired teachers to become part of the organization at the earliest and asked the administration to immediately establish Hind Di Chadar Teachers Home. Finally, Madam Neelam Narang thanked all the present retired teachers for their personal presence.
