Hoshiarpur:- Manav Sewa Sankalp Diwas was celebrated at Sanjhi Rasoi under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner-cum-President District Red Cross Society Ashika Jain. On this occasion, the District Red Cross Society remembered the teachings of Bhai Ghanaiya Ji and took a pledge to follow his path.
Secretary of Red Cross Society, Hoshiarpur, Mangesh Sood said that the Red Cross Society runs many public welfare projects. Every day, about 450 to 500 people are taking advantage of the lunch at Sanjhi Rasoi. The Secretary further said that Manav Sewa Sankalp Diwas dedicated to Bhai Ghanaiya Ji was celebrated by paying tribute to him and remembering his services.
On this occasion, Red Cross Society, Hoshiarpur provided first aid kits to the patients at various Gurdwaras like Gurdwara Shri Kalgidhar Sahib Ji, Gurdwara Mitha Tiwana Sahib Ji, Gurdwara Bhai Joga Singh Ji, Gurdwara Singh Sabha and Shri Ram Bhawan Charitable Dispensary. These kits included first aid bandages, medicines, cotton and disinfectants etc.
Rajiv Bajaj, Vice President Hospital Welfare Branch, Aditya Rana Joint Secretary, Sarabjit Lekhakar and other members of Red Cross staff were present on the occasion.
