
New solid waste management plans to be prepared separately in Faridabad, Gurugram and Manesar.
Chandigarh, September 15 - Haryana Urban Local Government Minister Mr. Vipul Goyal said that as per the guidelines of Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini, in order to realize Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's Swachh Bharat Mission, solid waste management plans are being prepared afresh for the cities of Faridabad, Gurugram and Manesar in the National Capital Region.
Chandigarh, September 15 - Haryana Urban Local Government Minister Mr. Vipul Goyal said that as per the guidelines of Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini, in order to realize Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's Swachh Bharat Mission, solid waste management plans are being prepared afresh for the cities of Faridabad, Gurugram and Manesar in the National Capital Region. For this, separate Request for Proposals (RFP) documents will be prepared for these cities from the rest of Haryana.
Mr. Goyal was chairing a meeting organized with 42 agencies working in solid waste management across the country and their representatives at Haryana Niwas, Chandigarh today.
*New experience will be given in Haryana-Vipul Goyal
Addressing the meeting, Mr. Goyal said that even though the agencies have experience of working in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and other metropolises, after the successful tender process in Haryana, they will get a different active experience of working with the state government.
*There will be no delay in payment
The Urban Local Government Minister assured that there will be no delay in any kind of undertaking under the projects. He said that the government will stand by the agencies at every level and the suggestions given by them will also be included in the upcoming RFP.
Commissioner and Secretary of the Urban Local Government Department Mr. Vikas Gupta, Director General Mr. Pankaj and other senior officers were also present in the meeting.
