Derabasi, September 25- The Punjab government has changed DSPs at the sub-division level in the police department, under which DSP Bikramjit Singh Brar has been posted as DSP Derabasi instead of ACP Jayant Puri of Derabasi Sub-Division. On Tuesday, DSP Bikram Brar, also known as Encounter Specialist, who is also a member of the Organized Crime Squad (OCCU), took over.
Before this he was posted as DSP at sub division Rajpura and Zirakpur. Talking on this occasion, DSP Bikramjit Singh Brar said that he will maintain the law and order situation in Derabassi sub division. He said that no one will be allowed to smuggle drugs in the area and if anyone is caught smuggling drugs, appropriate legal action will be taken against him.
He sought cooperation from the residents of Derabassi city to maintain peace and order in the city. Regarding the daily road jams in the markets of Derabassi city, he said that patrolling party teams will be increased in the markets in this regard.
