He said that this area is under GAMADA and it is the responsibility of GAMADA to make necessary cleaning arrangements here. He said that his organization is working under the plastic free campaign in the colonies and villages of Balongi, Barmajra, Jujharnagar, Jagatpura and Mohali 4 Hir which are outside the limits of the municipal corporation.

He said that mostly women living in colonies do cleaning work in people's houses, but the condition of cleanliness around their own houses is poor and people should take care of cleanliness themselves. He said that people have been told to put the garbage in the dustbin and Sidhu Foundation's tractor will pick up the garbage from here daily and deliver it to the garbage plant.

On this occasion, he appealed to the people to take a jute bag from their home while going to take sub-7. They appealed to the government to strictly stop those who use plastic, otherwise in the coming 15 years, Punjab may have a bad situation.
