Garhshankar 19 August- The 2-day 13th provincial session of Kul Hind Janavadi Istri Sabha began today at Ghadri Bibi Gulab Kaur Hall, Vidyavati Nagar, mother of Shaheed Azam S. Bhagat Singh.
On this occasion, the first flag hoisting ceremony was performed by Asha Rana, provincial president of Kul Hind Janavadi Istri Sabha. On this occasion, Bibi Asha Rana, Subhash Mattoo, Dr. Kanwaljit Kaur, Sarvjit Kaur and Krishna Kumari were present in the presidium. Bibi Subhash Mattoo welcomed the gathering in the welcome speech.
After this, in the inaugural speech, National General Secretary of All India Janavadi Istri Sabha Maryam Dhawale gave detailed information about the problems faced by women and the struggle being fought for the welfare of women by All India Janavadi Istri Sabha. She asked the delegates to further strengthen and build a joint struggle in Punjab.
She highly appreciated the construction of a town in the name of Bhagat Singh's mother Vidyawati Ji and a hall in the name of Ghadri Bibi Gulab Kaur. Giving a fraternal message on this occasion, Vice President of Punjab Kisan Sabha Sukhwinder Singh Sekhon asked to build a strong Janavadi Istri Sabha to stop the attacks on women and to outline the struggles for truth in this conference and in the works.
On this occasion, General Secretary of Kul Hind Khet Mazdoor Union Punjab, Sathi Gurmesh Singh, Vice President of CITU, Sathi Mahinder Kumar Badoan, Treasurer of DYFI Punjab, Sonu Gupta also gave brotherly messages. On this occasion, General Secretary of Janwadi Istri Sabha Punjab, Bibi Harpreet Kaur Jhabal, presented a report on the work done and struggles of three years.
