Hoshiarpur- League cricket tournaments are being organized in every ground to take urban cricket to new heights. Under this series, a league cricket tournament was also organized by Shaheed Bhagat Singh Cricket Academy Mal Mazara. Which lasted for about 2 months. The final match of which was played between Shri Guru Nanak Dev Cricket Club, Saleen Khurd vs BITS Cricket Club, Hoshiarpur.
In the final match, Shri Guru Nanak Dev Cricket Club won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, Shri Guru Nanak Dev Club set a target of 222 runs after losing 6 wickets in 20 overs. In which captain Vikas played a stormy innings and scored 76 runs for his team, Bawa ji contributed 50 runs and Harry contributed 20 runs. Bowling for Bits and Bytes Cricket Club, Goldie took 3 wickets for 26 runs in 4 overs, Arun Jaswal took 2 wickets for 53 runs in 3 overs.
Chasing 222 runs, the entire team of Bits and Bytes Cricket Club could score only 167 runs. In which Arun Jaswal contributed 52, Gagan 50 and Ashutosh Sharma contributed 27 runs. Bowling for Sri Guru Nanak Dev Cricket Club, Manjeet took 4 wickets in 4 overs. Sri Guru Nanak Dev Cricket Club won by 55 runs due to good bowling and good batting. PS PCL SDO Varinder Singh ji, who arrived specially in the final match, honored the winner and runner-up players by giving them trophies and also honored Vikas ji, who was the Man of the Series.
He also praised the best bowler Baba ji and said that Baba ji consistently bowled well to make the team win and the title of best batsman also went to Vikas ji. SDO Varinder Singh said that he always stands with cricket coach Tara Chand for the betterment of cricket on the ground. Whenever he is needed for the betterment of cricket.

In the end, all the residents of village Mall Mazara and Shaheed Bhagat Singh Cricket Academy honored Varinder Singh SDO Sahib by giving him a memento.
