How does scrub typhus spread-
Scrub typhus is a disease that spreads during the rainy season. It spreads due to the bite of fleas infected with the dangerous bacterium Rickettsia, which thrives on rats living in fields, bushes and grass. This bacterium enters the body through the skin and causes scrub typhus fever. It does not spread from one person to another.
