
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi released the 20th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi.
Chandigarh, August 2 - Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today released the 20th installment in the accounts of 9 crore 70 lakh farmers of the country from Varanasi Uttar Pradesh, giving a benefit of Rs 20 thousand 500 crore. In this, an amount of Rs 353 crore has been deposited in the accounts of 16 lakh 77 thousand farmers of Haryana.

Through this, a state-level program of PM Kisan Utsav Diwas was organized in the district of Panchkula in which Haryana Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini attended as the chief guest. Apart from this, PM Kisan Utsav Diwas programs were also organized in other districts where Cabinet and State Ministers attended. During the program, the Prime Minister's address to the farmers was heard live.
In his address, Shri Naib Singh Saini said that the distribution of the 20th installment released by the Prime Minister today is not a financial help, but a proof of the trust given to the farmers of the country. The Chief Minister thanked the Prime Minister on behalf of the farmers of the state for releasing the 20th installment.
It is worth mentioning that this scheme launched by the Prime Minister has brought a new energy, a new self-confidence in the lives of crores of farmers of India. Direct assistance is given to small and medium class farmers in three installments of Rs. 2,000 each. This transparency and commitment has become the identity of New India.
The Haryana Government has effectively implemented the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Along with this, significant work has also been done in areas like increasing the income of farmers, technological innovation and water conservation. The State Government is also ensuring that no eligible farmer is left behind.
