Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, August 2, 2025: Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department, District SAS Nagar Chief Agricultural Officer Dr. Gurmail Singh participated in a video conference regarding the release of the 20th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi.
On this occasion, Chief Agricultural Officer SAS Nagar said that financial assistance of 2000 has been released to 19568 farmer families in the district under the Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme through this 20th installment. He also informed that the farmers of the district whose installments are pending can contact the offices of the Agriculture Department and get their installments released by getting their bank account eKYC, land seeding of Fard etc. done. 
In this country level program, Dr. Shubhkaran Singh Block Agriculture Officer Kharar, Agricultural Development Officer Dr. Gurdial Kumar, Dr. Vivek Shankar, Dr. Sucha Singh, Shri Ramesh Kumar Sarpanch of village Chaultan Kala Shri Manish Kumar, progressive farmers Tarjinder Singh, Avtar Singh, Ujagar Singh Lakhmir Singh, Kamaljit Singh, Narinder Singh, Kaptan Singh and farmers from various villages of the district participated.
