Chandigarh, July 25 - Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department, Dr. Sumita Mishra reviewed the preparations of Panchkula District Administration for the CET examination to be held on July 26-27, 2025. She issued instructions to the District Administration and Police and emphasized on a zero-tolerance policy towards negligence.

She issued instructions to the District Administration and Police and emphasized on a zero-tolerance policy towards negligence.
Dr. Mishra directed the Police to maintain strict vigil and behave politely towards the candidates and their parents. While wishing all the candidates, she appealed to them to reach the examination centers well in advance. She assured that in case of any difficulty, any candidate can contact the nearest police personnel for assistance. 
The Police were instructed to take the candidate to the examination center in case of any obstruction. He also directed to set up helpdesks at bus stands and other prominent places for the convenience of the candidates.
He also appealed to the candidates and parents not to pay attention to fake messages, letters or rumours being circulated on social media. He said that they should follow only the official instructions issued by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission, Police or District Administration. Immediate police action will be taken against any attempt to spread wrong information or share fake documents.
In the meeting, Panchkula Deputy Commissioner Susri Monika Gupta said that Panchkula district is fully prepared to host CE 2025. More than 108 buses have been deployed to transport the candidates from Panchkula, Sector-5 bus stand to their examination centres. As per the examination schedule, special buses will also leave from Kalka, Morni, Barwala and Raipurrani in two shifts.
He said that there is a complete ban on mobile phones not only for candidates but also for the staff deployed on duty inside the examination centres. Section 163 of the Indian Penal Code will be applicable near all examination centres. Coaching centres and photocopy shops will remain closed on both the days to check the possibility of cheating.
During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Ms. Srashti Gupta said that 550 police personnel will be deployed at 44 examination centres of Panchkula and surveillance will be maintained from rooftops through binoculars to keep an eye on any suspicious activity. Special traffic management plans have been implemented to avoid overcrowding. He said that no private vehicle will be allowed to enter within 500 metres of the examination centres. Improper parking will be strictly dealt with and legal action will be taken against the violators.
DCP Gupta said that announcements through loudspeakers through ERV (Emergency Response Vehicle) and PCR (Police Control Room) vans will provide guidance to the students and the public. All police units have been directed to remain on high alert and take immediate action against those trying to create any kind of disturbance or disturbance of peace.
