Patiala 15, July: Due to lack of facilities in government hospitals and dispensaries, poor and middle class patients are very unhappy and troubled. Regarding this big problem, New Patiala Welfare Club protested against the Mann government under the leadership of President Arvinder Kumar Kaka.
During this, President Arvinder Kumar Kaka raised questions on the policies of the Mann government and said that even after 42 months, the Mann government has not been able to fulfill the promise of giving one thousand rupees per month to women. What can be expected from a government that provides free treatment up to ten lakh rupees per person.
All the promises of the Mann government are hollow and false and the innocent people of Punjab are being fooled and played with. The Mohalla Safai Karamcharis opened in Punjab have proved unsuccessful in treating the affected patients. The Mann government is not taking the health of the people of Punjab seriously. It is putting its pictures on hospitals, dispensaries and sanitation workers just to brighten its face.
Even the basic prescription of Rs 100 is misleading the people. 10 is not free, stand rent is not free, no medicine is free, tests are not free, even drinking water is not free, there is a huge shortage of doctors, then how will the government provide cash and free treatment up to Rs 10 lakh to every person in Punjab.
This government is increasing the rates of private hospitals by announcing free treatment up to Rs 10 lakh. If all the facilities are available in government hospitals and dispensaries, then why should people waste their money in private hospitals and cleanliness for minor diseases. The Mann government is fooling the people by entangling them in announcements like previous governments.
Today the condition of hospitals in Punjab has become very bad and pathetic. Due to which patients have to wander here and there. President Arvinder Kumar Kaka said that in the interest of the people, the campaign to save Punjab and expose the corruption of the government will soon be started in villages and cities with a convoy of empty vehicles.
